Description

at first i was going crazy unpacking everything ripping all that bubble wrap off everything. then i had to plug all that stuff in. was lost. found the manuals and kinda got myself going again... was tough installing the 212 evo gotta admit. 10 tries to put that backplate on and the cooler itself... and i moved the cooler around a little while it was mounted but my cpu temps never go above 35celcius. and i ran all the latest games + gta 4 everything MAXED out. cpu just didnt wana go above 35... and gpu max temps were 60celcius. ambient temps here at the moment are about 10celcius maybe.

i love this mobo . the gpu . the cpu. the cooler for cpu. everything is amzing . the case looks amazing ! that window gives me a sexy look haha :D also the mobo has cpu temp led which is rli good just look right and there i see it :)

gpu fans are off 90% of the time.. they sit at about 1-5% when at a gpu load of maybe 50% , gpu load 50-70% fans come to about 30% speed..

gpu load 99% fans dont go above 50%-60% speed... which keeps the whole ring very silent...

LOVE IT ALL !

UPDATE 15th / 11 / 2014 -> One fan is making too much noise when idle.it is most likely the exaust fan which ill replace with corsair SP fans probably, i tryed adding rubber pads to the exaust fan but they are not helping at all. did some proper cable management and now temps are constantly at 25celcius when idle (web browsing, skype, videos, music)

Added more pics in daylight ! :)

note -> thanks to optimusgaming for recommending me the MSI GeForce GTX 970 Twin Frozr V Video Card as without him i probably would of bought gigabyte one ! :)

I like seeing a build where someone spends their budget on powerful parts instead of peripherals. It's satisfying knowing that someone else cares as little about if my keyboard is green as I do. (Maybe you don't but I don't care, I'm having a moment here) +1

I feel the same, I use a Large keyboard that has easy to press keys, and a 7 year old Logitech G5 gaming mouse I got from my step dad. The mouse works great, and I don't think I would change if I had the chance, and my keyboard works great when typing, silent, easy to press and was free. Not big on peripherals either.

I like good specs as much as I like a green glowing "GEFORCE GTX" in a case window. The set up really makes it look better imo.

i was going to buy gtx 970 gigabyte 1 windforce but i found out the version with backplate was like 40 bucks more i decided to take the msi red theme since my whole inside is red :) and to tell you this msi gtx is epic . lots of power saving while not gaming .(fans off due to no loads) overall this build is very silent apart from the default fans that came in the case... they are kind of **** except the front with red led. exaust is kind of vibrating even when i put rubber pads on it

i also have the same thing with my case. its the front fan not the back one because i only have the front one plugged in and the noise on it is horrible. i tried changing it on BIOS but it doesn't work

Very solid build indeed. I'm considering a Crucial mx100 128 GB to refresh my old AMD Phenom secondary rig, which has now become a general use community rig more than a gaming rig lol. Anyways, how is that SSD working for you?

Awesome! Yea I love SSD's, and always try and fit them into the budget of a new build for sure. Good to hear you're enjoying it, I'll definitely be slapping one of them bad boys into my old rig, should make an excellent difference. Thanks for the reply, enjoy that shiny new machine!!

Please tell me somebody, is the 4690k worth it? or an FX 8320, I'm want to multitask very fast. I do 3D Animation and rendering. I want good graphics and decent FPS in Arma 2, 3 and Dayz. This is my first build! thankS!!
