Description

So I built this to upgrade from my first ever build. It had an AMD FX 8150 and an ASUS M5A99FX R2.0 Pro and it is quite the upgrade for just 2 components. My FPS is a lot higher, I never realized how much my processor was bottlenecking me. But this turned out A LOT better than I ever imagined. My old build looked like trash but this new one is SUPER SEXY!

Flip the psu. Otherwise a very solid looking build. +1

Can't, it will normally be on carpet. So it will suffocate, and trust me it did before.

I'd still flip it, and then get a piece of wood cut, 1/4" to 1/2" thick, length and width same size as your case. Sit the wood on the carpet, computer on the wood. It's cheap, and better for your PSU. It allows it to draw in cooler air from outside the case, and exhaust out the back.

I did this for my PC in the living room. Cheap, easy, doesn't damage the carpet, and better for the PSU and your computer.

Quick question. How are the Rosewill Hyperboreas working for you? I've been thinking of picking up some 140mm for my Kraken X61.

Really well. They're really quiet without even having to go into the bios to change the speed.

Sounds good! I think it's time to swap out my NZXT stock fans.

I've had mine for over a year and doesn't seem like it'll fail at all. I actually have two, one in another build, I trust this drive 110%
