Description

EDIT: Greetings, Update of completion of build and set up.

Greetings,

Thank you for taking time to see my build.

This is my 2nd Build and I wanted to make it very unique. This was my part time project, took me a little bit over a year to finish. My goal was not to have it over powered with a insane case design and crazy tubing. I wanted to keep it simple and sleek, to show the true nature of its beauty.

Case: Corsair 900D My plan was to go with a ROG theme. I love the 900D case, for its sleek design and its size, makes it easy to water cool and to customize it. I painted the case with midnight metallic paint and deep red, followed by 3 coats of gloss finish, I highlighted what ever I saw fit with red in this case, to show off its amazing design.

Asus ROG. I love there products, they might be pricey but there quality and design is amazing. I also made a custom reservoir with the ROG logo.

Monsoon Cooling: I was blown away when I first saw Monsoon products, the design and quality of this product is amazing.

This Rig will have 4 displays hooked up to it. Two ROG 279Q on the sides, ROG 348Q center and above the 348Q a LG 34UC97.

Why go for dual 980ti when you could of gone for dual 1070s or 1080s?

Looks matched my build, and they are water/air cool, hand me downs to my boys when i upgrade.

How's that work? Didn't register until a commenter down below pointed out the vapor tubes or whatever normally associated with air coolers... So you took off the fans, but mount the GPU block to this air cooler underneath?

  • 1 point

The GPU are designed for either air or liquid. I think its a amazing idea. More info:

Wow - beautiful. Mind walking us through the custom loop? GPUs go to CPU go to MoBo cooling go to...where? And how do I get back to GPU (starting point of what I can see)? 3 rads? Top, front and back of down below? What's up with that res setup and pump - it looks cool! But how does it work? It looks like two cylinder res on top of a bay res? driven by one pump? I also thought I saw a pump top down below.... VERY good looking - want to know more. Great detail!

Thanks you.
The bottom rez/pump with the ROG logo is cosmetics,it is not connected to any loop. I added mayhems aurora solvent and it gives it a cool effect . I wanted to do something more then just adding a ROG sticker to the system

About the loop: Bay Res, 360 radiator (front side) GPU,GPU, CPU, MOBO, 480 radiator to Res Tubing.

Loop starts off from the monsoon res bay, goes into the 360 radiator(front of PC) which also has a " T" fitting for draining. Coolant then flows out the side of computer (side with no window) and up to the lower GPU and out the Top GPU. Which then goes to the CPU followed by the MOBO up to the 480 Radiator and then splits perfectly into the 2 Cylinder Reservoirs.

Idle GPUs at 32c Playing BF1 Maxed setting on a ROG PG34Q goes to 46c. I am guessing it will hit lower 50c when I hook up my other monitors.

Water cooling your mobo because why the hell not (I know it includes the inlets for tubing but you know). Love this setup, good job.

Thank you. You are totally right, only reason I water cooled mobo, inlets were right there.

I love how the Poseidon cards still have the heat pipes even though they are watercooled. Really makes them look industrial vs the kinda plane square block that is most waterblocks. Awesome setup!

I only have one question....... Can you make an nvidia surround setup with one 21:9 monitor in the center and two 16:9 on the sides for gaming ?

SRWE is a program, that you can play games in window mode, with no border at all; A link to site:
