Description

Also used my old 1TB 7200RPM HDD from my last computer just to cut the price a bit, GPU came with BF4 and it runs w/ a smooth 60 FPS on Ultra preset while using DirectX (while waiting for mantle optimization), the whole thing runs ALOT cooler than i thought, i set up the fans so that i have the 140mm CPU cooler fan blowing in from the back and two 120mm fans that came with the case blowing out from the top of the case, I will OC the CPU a bit more once i have time to set that up, the temps reported are after running a full system stability test for over 15 minutes and a CPU stress test for 7 minutes. I got the Win7 Pro for free with my student license (I'm a computer science student)

I'll answer any questions as well as i can.

Very nice! I love that case. Maybe some more pics, specifically of the inside?

Yeah i love the case too it's pretty roomy for a mATX case, sorry for the lack of pics but i only own the camera that's on my phone and the quality equals that of a picture taken with a potato, just re-did the cable management, the case is way too small for a non-modular ATX PSU but i guess i did quite well, I'll update the post now

Potatoes aren't too bad. Nice rig! You did a pretty good job with your cables. I have a non-modular in a mid tower, and spent a few hours today redoing the wiring (I'm obsessed with having my wires perfect). I can't imagine doing it in there...

Well, I don't have anything personal against potatoes but they aren't the best for taking pictures tho. I like your build too, how do you find your r9 270 performing, does it run hot ?

It actually is runny pretty hot, idling at 35 C.

Well that's not too bad, I've got pretty much same idle temps, but it doesn't go over 65 C under any load, I've played BF4 on Ultra preset for many hours and It doesn't go over 65 even though it's a pretty heavy game and uses almost 100% of my GPU

I have this case too and am I right in thinking you have turned the right hand panel upside down and put it on the left? I was considering this as at the moment all the cables go across from one side to the other and you don't have a chance to tidy them.

This is a Micro-ATX, not Mini-ITX...
