Description

This pc is a great budget build. It performs very well as a general purpose computer. It of course can do everything a prebuilt pc can, but also handles gaming very well for its specs. It runs Skyrim at max settings with mods and hd textures at around 30fps, bioshock at max settings around 45fps, GTA4 with enb mods at 40fps, and civ 5 at around 50fps. Its temperature stays low most of the time, even under load. The size and looks of the case impressed my friends and acts as a conversation starter. "woah! is that a computer?" "yeah." "where'd you buy it?!" "I built it myself." "no way! that's sick!"

Can an APU's integrated graphics be used WITH a GPU or will the rig just use the GPU?

In this case, it will only use the GPU. You can crossfire APUs with certain AMD GPUs, but I can't remember which ones.

They sure can, they call it AMD Radeon Dual Graphics. Here's the recommended APU/GPU pairings for the A-series.

You can still use the other gpu for other activity.
