Description

Build in Dec 2013. All chosen components were released no later than 2009 (coz I was cranky). Serve as my major home PC for all tasks. Now I'm typing on it. Looks clean and new. Runs latests software. Works great. I have other super rigs but this little old folk is my best partner.

You did a really good job cable managing in that case. It has pretty much no options for cable management! I'd watch that PSU looks like a cheapo but nice build!

I know they are like the Hive series but they do make bad generic cheap units too.

Just a question, what is this for?

thomasz submitter 4 Builds 1 point 53 months ago

everyday usage, except for heavy load tasks (I have another beast)... well, afterall, just for fun.

what game were you playing in that one pic?

thomasz submitter 4 Builds 1 point 53 months ago

It's a Chinese game released in mid 2013. Not a hi-tech game, but simply resource-eating.

kudos for your build! I love to see old components being used for normal usage (including some gaming), and mixed with new parts.

What are the average temperatures you are getting on those hard drives?

thomasz submitter 4 Builds 1 point 4 months ago

I never checked. How to monitor hard drive temperature?

dr04e606 1 point 4 months ago

Well, under Windows, I usually am using HWiNFO. It logs all the info and gives you the min, max, avg values.
