Description

I decided to create a build for playing recent games on high settings at 1080p, I only had a budget of £500 for the build so took time researching the parts to get maximum performance at this price point. I wanted the system to be up-gradable in the future so I went for Z97 board providing options for a K CPU or crossfire, the 4460 seems powerful enough at the moment though. Overall I think the system meets these requirements pretty well achieving around 50 fps at max settings on BF4 and over 60 fps at max settings on GRID Autosport.

The build went well although there was some difficulty removing the fan/graphics card holder bar that comes with the Z3 plus. There is also very little support for cable management within the case but for the price the case works very well and comes with 4 fans providing decent airflow.

I also now realize that a better PSU should have been used but I have had no issues so far and it gets the job done.

The Kingston SSD (was a gift) and wireless card were added at a later point.

Sorry for the poor image quality.

Omg I've got that case and I completely agree with you there is legit no room behind the motherboard for cable management!!!

I agree a nice budget build indeed! I have the MSI 380 4gb card myself and I agree they pretty kick arse in 1080p! Great job +1
