Description

So. This is my first small formfactor computer besides an old suttle barbone-pc. I build this with all new components except for the harddrives. I wanted to build something as small and powerful as possible for a reasonable price. And this is what it ended in ;)

Is it better to have the CPU fan flipped around than blowing air towards the CPU?

How did you like working with a mini ITX?

Love it :) But i had to mod a little bit. Had to put the psu in the front. I really don't need more than 1 pci /pci-e slot at the moment. and the cpu temps are wrong i get 60°C at full load 3.8ghz. I always have the case open though.

Is there a problem with the cooler back-plate and the circuitry around the holes on the back of the board? How is the clearance on that? Did you have to make some adjustments/preparation to accommodate the back-plate?

i'm not sureif it was on this mainboard but i think there were 2 soldering-points that were just 1-2mm too long so i made them shorter. everything else fits flawless

Thanks for the reply.

In the meantime I got the same board and installed it in a TT Dokker temporarily until my FD Node 304 arrived and now it's in a Node 304. Didn't shorten any soldering ends, but I noticed some were a bit long. Still the whole thing works without any tweaks, and the standoffs on the Dokker were really short, but clearance was fine. The standoffs on the Node 304 are on the tall side so that helps further.

Doesn't Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 4GB have 600W PSU requirement?

This card is rated at 230w and the cpu at 84.lets say as its overclocked 400w. and the rest like 70w at max. the 600w requirement is to be safe. bequiets psu calculator says my system is at 470w
