I was shooting for a budget gaming rig that could easily be upgraded in the future. I made sure to use an 1151 Skylake board since the next two series of Intel processors are confirmed for that socket type. Everything came together well except for the placement of the Corsair H60 cooler. I wanted to mount it at the top interior of the case but there wasn't enough space between the case and motherboard for both the fan and radiator. Still runs nice and cool even with the H60 acting as an exhaust fan. Haven't tested many games yet but I can max out World of Tanks and get around 70fps which has been amazing compared to the old Toshiba laptop that this is replacing! The i3-6100 has been a GREAT little budget processor and is handling everything I'm throwing at it, especially when paired with the SSD and 16GB of ram. Even though the MSI GeForce 950 isn't a top of the line video card I've been getting great results so far and the Twin Frozr design ensures it runs cool and quiet. I plan on pushing its limits soon with Just Cause 3 and a few other AAA titles. I'm hoping this rig will provide me with 1080p 60fps gaming for a few years and then when needed I will upgrade the processor and video card to get a few more years out it. Overall love the red/black theme and am super happy with this build! Thanks for looking!
