Description

This was my first build ever.

I started buying my parts in October of 2014.

I had originally purchased a G3258 CPU for my system to try and save some cash but the end result just didn't cut it so I splurged and bought the i5-4690K.

I liked the case at first but got bored with it shortly afterwards so I made a few mods... added 2 fans on the bottom, added 2 fans on top, added side window and painted part of the case white. I had to add an external fan shroud on top as I didn't have enough room inside the case for the 2 added fans. I plan to further mod the case to make the front panel blend better with the red and white scheme.

My video card was actually free, it came with a bunch of used AMD parts that I bought and then resold for a profit.

I had access to all material and tools at work so I was lucky to have no out of pocket expense... just don't tell my boss ;) Thanks

awesome case mode, cheap case pimped to look like a 120$ case. would love to see more pics of the inside, whats under that scoop.

Nothing much under the scoop but the fans... I am not really into the liquid cooling thing yet but a rad should fit in there with a little adjustment. Thanks

Nice overclock! 4.5GHz on a 4690K is pretty good! Just wondering, is the H60 loud?

Not loud at all and keeps the cpu cool @ 4.5GHZ. Thanks

Nice mod why did you mod it?

Just got bored of it, really wanted a window on the side panel. My first side panel had a window and fan installed but it was a bolt on/scew on panel. The fan blocked the view inside the case and I got tired of unscrewing the side panel off and on. This side panel uses the factory attachments so its easy on/off.

I planned to add something to the window but was too busy at work and my system was down for a week already... when I get a chance I will cut another window and etch it. I have access to all kinds of acrylic at work so its just a ? of time. Thanks
