This build came to replace an old Dell XPS 9100 (5yr old computer). Supposed to be a lasting overkill on a budget, came up pretty nice except for a few issues with the FTW mobo from EVGA.

The revision A1 of the x99 FTW motherboard is wrong. EVGA knows it quite well. The memory slots are supposed to be 1-2-3-4 and 8-7-6-5 but any memory on the 1-2-3-4 slots wont work and wont boot up. I got the first 2 MOBOs RMA'd from Amazon and EVGA and no change since they always send the A1 revision. So for the next build, put up some extra cash and get a ROG Asus. Simple.

Other than that, i couldnt be happier with the build. Added 2 more fans on top of the cooler so i have a push-pull in the case.

The main drives are the SSDs in RAID 0 for OS and gaming. The other 3 HDs are only for media as i have quite the movie collection.

Runs most games on Ultra settings and its pretty damn fast in comparison to my last computer.

Regular? Actually might be the best description. Im not a full-time gamer nor developer nor anything really. Im a business administrator. So paying too much for keyboard and mouse tech im not going to fully use made no sense. This CM combo is pretty nice and works. Only thing that really annoys me is that the mouse light stays on if you dont mess around some configs in the BIOS.

Ty and yes, comp is too dirty atm. But once i clean it up ill take some decent pictures.
