Description

First time building a custom water loop rig and she turned out beautifully. Highly recommend the Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX tempered glass case, has ample space for reservoirs, pumps, tubing, and all components with room to spare. The EK D5 Revo runs silently and looks awesome with primochill UV blue additive. Corsair case fans run at a silent idle even under full load. The NZXT HUE plus system adds extra flair. Currently running a 38402160 60hz monitor. *IMAGES UPDATED - CABLE COMBS ADDED

+1 for the computer being on an alto sax case

fletcherhub3 1 Build 2 points 9 months ago

Alto sax is the best. Helps me remake an "impeccable" rendition of Careless Whisper when I play it.

Deadpool style I hope?

fletcherhub3 1 Build 2 points 9 months ago

Oh yes. I play with the band at a basketball game tonight and you could say that I'm very excited.

Hahaha trumpet actually. Keeps it off the carpet, less dust, better airflow.

BlooBlaster 1 point 9 months ago

Ok haha, couldn't tell just by looking at the case.

Cool build, awesome build in fact, but why the 4790K? If you had it previously, that's understandable, but otherwise, why not get a more recent CPU?

spoonaustin submitter 3 Builds 1 point 9 months ago

Had the mobo/cpu for little over a year. And at the time got a crazy good deal on it.

InanimateBB 1 Build 1 point 9 months ago

Ahhhh, I see. Either way, the CPU is still great, and it's cool that it still suits you, (it probably would suit me and just about everyone else on this website).

1 280mm rad cooling a 1080 and 4790k! how are the temps?

spoonaustin submitter 3 Builds 1 point 9 months ago

Excellent. 28C on both at idle. Under high gaming load both get up to from 48-60C.

kingpin 1 Build 1 point 9 months ago

very nice!

Emerson_006 1 Build 1 point 9 months ago

Great build but i would suggest getting some cable combs for your cables.

spoonaustin submitter 3 Builds 1 point 9 months ago

They are enroute from PerformancePC's as we speak.

Emerson_006 1 Build 1 point 9 months ago

bossitronio22 1 point 9 months ago

spoonaustin submitter 3 Builds 1 point 9 months ago

I tinkered and added and changed parts in and out for quite some time.

That's the NZXT Hue Plus Led System. 60 bucks. Can run up to 8 strips, 4 per channel.
