Thank you! I will be taking final pics after I get the windows installed and the vinyl designs in place. This weekend I hope to paint the dragon/flames on the top.

Standing desk aka torture device... I dunno how people can use them, especially for gaming. I have one at work and tried it for an hour. Hated every second

Dalchi_frusche submitter 4 Builds 1 point 11 months ago

I understand your viewpoint :D Standing become an ease to the torture of sitting.......after slipping a disk and fracturing some vertebrae. :p

napreaux 1 Build 1 point 11 months ago

I guess thats understandable. Just not the thing for me. It looks beautiful though! Is the Jack Daniels for the pain too? ;)

Dalchi_frusche submitter 4 Builds 1 point 11 months ago

Thanks, hoping the end result stays as beautiful. As for the Jack.... that's for the fact I'm married and my gaming battle station is in a closet. LFMAO! :D

PlasteredPlatypus 2 points 11 months ago

Closet battle station ftw. My setup is in what my girlfriend has dubbed the "cloffice"

Dalchi_frusche submitter 4 Builds 1 point 11 months ago

Haha, now "coming out of the closet" means something entirely different for us now :D Glad I'm not the only one banished to a closet lol

iKoniKModz 1 Build 2 points 7 months ago

Seriously trying to figure out how this didn't get featured!

Dalchi_frusche submitter 4 Builds 2 points 7 months ago

It's the burden of going unique. haha

CSB0518 1 Build 1 point 11 months ago

Very cool!

Dalchi_frusche submitter 4 Builds 1 point 11 months ago

Thanks!

sptogl 1 Build 1 point 11 months ago

How much would that cost to build (without being sponsored)?

Dalchi_frusche submitter 4 Builds 1 point 11 months ago

the watercooling and custom sleeving parts were just under $3k, I think I calculated just over $5k when you're all said and done.... but that also includes some labor costs if you can't build the desk yourself.

BEEFJERKEY 1 Build 1 point 11 months ago

May I ask why you went with older parts

Dalchi_frusche submitter 4 Builds 1 point 11 months ago

Simple thing of money. Didn't get a sponsor for the motherboard and gpu.... yet. The gpu and motherboard can be swapped in and out fairly easy so I'm not too worried :D

Tank_Blaster 1 point 11 months ago

Do you plan monitor upgrade?

Dalchi_frusche submitter 4 Builds 1 point 11 months ago

Hopefully, I'm trying to bring a company on board to hold a contest between my desk and Gadget Joe's Alter-Ego desk (https://twitter.com/joe_gadget/status/934183595073253377)

OccamAsylum 14 Builds 1 point 11 months ago

Hey Dalchi_frusche, I've been looking for that Mobo for weeks now, it's not in stock anywhere near me or for sale, do you know where I could get one? thanks : )

The_Hazard 1 Build 2 points 9 months ago

Thanks, man, but I was looking for the R3.0, those links are for the R2.0, thanks for trying though : )
