tbh, thats kinda expensive for the parts you got, but u did say u just had a extra bunch of parts like the cpu(hopefully, if not u could've got a 3600 or 2600) but noice.

Correction: If davidpk52 built this when Skylake was released (relatively) in 2015 and between 2017 then davidpk52 did a good job with their budget at the time (unless OP updated something along the way like storage but I don't know). I built a $1.1K build for one of my uncles who had a very strict budget and wanted a Mid Tower back in 2017 and he got more bang for his dollar majorly versus a retail store.
