Description

Bought almost everything at the thrift store!

CPU: Pentium 4 Hyperthreated monster with 1 real core and one hyperthreated. This thing eats right through the most unoptimized games such as arma 3 or dayz.

GPU: Fx 5200 this beast of a gpu absolutley destroys any game you throw at it. I guarantee 100fps on arkaham night and Watch dogs. You will not find a better deal on the market.

Psu: Can power NYC and Beijing at the same time.... Not much to say about it..

RAM: Holy crap did I go all out on this one! For today's standards you will need massive amounts of ram to video edit your sick mlg skillz in COD. I went with a woping 2 whole gigabyte sticks of ram to absolutely destroy these tasks.

Case: So much airflow that it can fly... Even while turned off this case always wants to fly away from the floor... We needed to glue it to my rug so it wouldn't fly away...

Heatsync: This heatsink keeps the CPU very cool at around -9 degrees on full load... I was amazed on how cool it kept it. 10/10

But in all seriosnes this is my little brothers build and he needs another one... He loves games.. period. I am posting this on behalf of reddit.com/r/pcmasterrace because of a cpu and mobo giveaway that they are doing.

But I still think that this would have been a beast back in its time.. What should I name it guys?

EDIT: I am entering alot of giveaways in hopes of getting something for my little brother, not just the mobo and cpu giveaway!

EDIT 2: For those of you wondering why the fan or the heatsync arent screwed in... Is because on the heatsync we lost the mounting thing (woops) and just left the case on its side with thermal paste. One day I forgot about it and lifted it up in a straight position and my brain remembered this and I freaked out... The TP dried up and is now holding the heatsync with it... Crazy stuff. And fan isnt screwed in because I decided to glue it in to the case... Not much to say about it.

HAHAHA it says " Pentium 4 gaming beast! " well, it lists the GPU and not the CPU. I saw FX 5200 and was so confused...

I had a friends old Q6600 build for a few days, put my 980 ti in it, and it performed worse than with its original 650 ti it has, lol.

My PC has xp and has 1gb of ram same can go up to 8gb HHD size and and 64 athlon 3200 1.99ghz Nvidia GT 720 better then the ati 400 has the 250watts PSU. What CPU is speed on on cool old pc that pc could play my old favorite game from the 1998 called jazz jackrabbit 2 and my new gaming pc with win10 and Linux wine can play just like it was made for it. It does look like an old Dell case just like you listed there. An interesting budget PC and build. If it works for what you are trying to do and it was cheap than it is good for you.

Funny build. Only thing to comment on is to you still have the green plastic cover from the heat sync? It was a scoop like thing that funneled air through the heat sync out the back of the case, it was not open air like your pics show.

That thing is long gone... When I was building it my little bro got a little too excited and stepped on it and cracked it... Could have probably gotten about 999 more fps :(... But I got the green plastic thing and the fan from the case pretty cheaply...
