Description

I wanted to build a small PC that could fit the Arctic Liquid Freezer II 240 AIO, x570 Mobo, and 3090 (if I could find one).

I researched and researched trying to find out if I could fit the components being the arctic liquid freezer is so large. I found one guy on here that had a build and decided if I could make it fit like he did I would Post so others wanted to build with this case could see it does work and what components we each used.

I will update with Photos Later today

Some nice parts tightly packed!

What is your clearance between the radiator fans and the DRAM?

I will measure tonight but it is a pretty significant amount. I went with the lowest profile I could find for the DRAM which was the LPX. I saw another person on here use Ballistix and they cleared fine too.

Hey, I am considering a similar style build as this, how is the clearance from the rad and fans to the MOBO VRM heatsink/shroud?

It's very close. I didn't measure. I can tell you though I don't think many rads +fans fit. I know you can slide it around on the meshify like forward and back

I'm literally trying to build almost the same type of mix for myself and trying to figure out if I can top mount the LF AIO and not have it be incompatible with the thermal guards from the MB (B550 Aorus Elite AX V2), but there's a misleading factor with your build. You say it's the Meshify 2 Compact but the part list specifies Meshify 2 (without the Compact). Can you clarify if this is indeed the compact version? Based on the images it seems to be the compact and in that case I should have no issues with mine either but need to confirm.

My mistake. It is the compact.

Awesome, thanks! In the meantime I found someone else with the same case, AIO on top and motherboard I'll be getting and theirs also seems like a tight fit but should work, with my RAM being the same as yours. So fingers crossed, looking up all these things has been PTSD-inducing for me lol...

Just to check as well, have you had any problems with your setup over time? It's been a year since this build's been completed, assuming you've been using it has everything been clean?

Yes. I’m actually tearing it apart as we speak and upgrading components and moving this around. If you have any questions feel free to ask

...Oh you did have problems? What kind? Was the 240 doing a good job at cooling the CPU?

Nope, none at all. No problems with it. I just decided I wanted to upgrade to an RGB build.
