Description

So this is my first ever complete PC build that i've done, but i've worked with computer parts for a couple years but i just haven't had the money to build a PC. So summer rolls around and with that comes the 4th of July deals, so you know i've got to splurge on the deals. Mainly what I use the PC for is gaming and video editing. Now to get onto the good stuff

The Intel Core i5-6500 3.2 Ghz is an amazing CPU for me and right now I don't have it overclocked but possibly plan on overclocking in the future.

I went with the NZXT Kraken X31 because one it went with the theme that I went with and it matched with my NZXT case that I went with

The MSI Z170A PC MATE motherboard I went with because I heard read reviews about it and I liked the way that it looked

The Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB, well theres not much to say about it, its RAM along with the 1TB Seagate HHD

I got the GTX 950 as a birthday present a couple months back and figured I wouldn't need to upgrade, but with these new 10 series that NVIDA came out with the money is calling for it

And last but not least to house it all. I went with the NXZT S340 of course in white to match the theme

All in all I thought the PC came out great and definitely beat my standards that I had for it, hope you all enjoy it as much as I do. Also more pictures to come when more of my stuff comes in for the setup.

nice build! it's definitely a beauty. i want to go with a white and black theme, as any color can go with it well. could've gone with faster RAM for $4 more, but a solid build for sure. the GPU should be upgraded in 3-4 years, it is the first major bottleneck you will find.

How quiet is the Kraken X31 because I just ordered one to go with my s340 case as well?

I'd say its pretty quiet i cant really hear it with my headphones on, even with them off its really quiet i hear a little hum, but that may just be from my fans

Thanks for the quick response! But I have another question for you. How flexible are the Kraken's tubes?

Sorry, just now seeing this. From how much i've bent them theyre pretty flexible, when i was messing around with configuration i had the tubes behind the panel in the S340 and it worked pretty well
