Description

this was my first build and i use if for everything you can think of. Gaming and homework, programming and using virtual machines on it. i have had a few problems with the vrm and northbridge overheating but if i can't get it fixed i plan on rmaing the board or replacing it with a better board, i hit the 5.0 ghz mark, i can keep the 5.0 stable for longer periods of time because i moved the cooler and improved the airflow in my case but it still overheats. Im able to keep my computer at 4.8ghz@1.425v 24/7 stable with no risk of the cpu being compromised or damaged. ive had this build run everything i can throw at it and it hasn't had any real trouble. This desktop has been through 2 moves so far and it will go wherever i go in terms of where i live. this system will last a few years without any problems. I haven't had much time to test the new cooler and i will put new pictures and benchmarks up when i get a little more free time. What does everyone think?

5Ghz on a 8320? You got yourself a sweet chip. Yeah, a bigger cooler is in order if you want to sustain that clock, but even then, a larger closed loop liquid cooler would still warm up, albeit slower. You may need to go all out and do a custom loop.

Still a sweet build. More pictures and a full description please? +1

i was looking at the parts to build a custom loop or upgrading to the h100 or the kraken x60 for better cooling.

You were able to get 5.0 stable? At idle or in a burn test?

i wasnt able to get 5.0 stable without running the risk of damaging the chip because of my cooling, if i were to put on a bigger cooler i could keep it cool and stable at 5.0

I love the system bro, cable management is A+ worthy in my book. Definitely Aviator certified. +1
