Description

Almost done! I got another 560ti putting dual kraken g10s on both, it keeps my gpu's at a frosty 25 deg haha. I also did a fan overhaul cause of the noise. I put in 2x sp120's, 2x af120 (led), and 1xaf140 in the back. I also hated the look of my Sli bridge so I made a cover for it which I think looks pretty decent (any cool ideas you got let me know haha). Lastly I am trying to sell my dominator platinums to upgrade to the new HyperX Fury (4 sticks alternating black and white). I think it would look boss haha. And lastly I am looking to RAID 0 dual SSD's, but that will be in the distant future.

Interesting GPU choice for such a high end build.

Gonna upvote for the creative name but I really think that you should consider upgrading your graphics card soon. +1

It was a price per performance consideration. I will upload new pictures soon, but im running dual 560ti's in sli which gives me the performance of around a 760~770.

Really? I didn't know they performed that well.

A little outdated for next-gen games (now current gen xD), but looks really nice. The name is very accurate!

I HAVE A GT240, B!TCH! :D

All lulz aside, I really do run a GT240 and play BF4 and other current-gen games reasonably well.

i highly doubt that. Either you run below 720p or you play at settings where you can't tell the difference between a building and a rock

I play on a 1366x768 monitor (sometimes put settings to 720p borderless). I run on low, sure, but it is still easily playable and I can clearly distinguish between different features. It may not look the best (or anywhere close lol) but it doesn't look terrible either.

I run Crysis 3, Skyrim, and Wildstar at ultra settings (1920x1080) getting a stable 60fps. I forget the benchmarks, but I average around 45 fps on Heaven Benchmark (ultra settings with Anti aliasing x8)

did you mount the h80 to the top or front panel?

front. I have the H80 and 2 H55 in the front panel

great build! One question about the H80i. Did you replace one of the intake fans on the front to mount the H80i rad?

  • 1 point

yea i took out the stock nzxt fan and used both of the corsair fans. They are optimized for static pressure and provide much better and quieter performance

Thanks a lot! I was worried the tubing wouldn't reach the cpu with the rad in thr front. Glad it does! Didn't want to put an intake system in the back (which I assume is set as an exhaust)

yup! Just make sure you have the proper fans, air intake in the front is pretty minimal due to the case, but if you have sp fans its a non issue

Beautiful build! I will be getting this case with an H80i here in a couple of weeks. where did you mount yours, and why instead of replacing the stock exhaust like most people do? Thanks for the help!
