This is my first computer that I have built. I use it mainly for gaming and video editing, but I will say that sometimes I think I just built a $1,400 Internet TV (thanks YouTube and Netflix) But besides that, it's a great computer. The only thing I would have done different was get the 970 version of the card I got.

I have also overclocked the CPU to 4.4 GHz and the graphics card comes pre overclocked out of the box.

Part Reviews

Amazing processor with great performance.

CPU Cooler

Great cooler over all, however I feel that my cup temps could be a little cooler.

Great motherboard, easy to use BIOS and good features.

Great performance, not much more to say lol.

This thing is astonishing, the speed and snappyness (if that's a word) of the computer is tremendously improved with this guy!

Video Card

Amazing performance, the out of the box overclock is really great and gives it quite a performance increase

Love this case. I really like how it is layer out and is really easy to use

Power Supply

Good power supply, and I really love the the fact that it's modular. My computer however doesn't require nearly the wattage this thing can deliver, so I'm not really sure how it performs under a higher load. But for what it does, I haven't had a single problem.

Operating System

Favorite operating system and probably one of the best ones ever created by Microsoft (unless your still on that Windows 3.1 hype ;) )

This all looks really good and a good solid build, apart from the GPU and CPU.

Nothing wrong with your choices, but for Gaming and Watching Videos, I would myself have gone for the i5-6600k and sued that saved money for a 970.

But hey, you may go and do something CPU intensive in the future like editing and design where that i7 is needed :D

I do video editing and rendering, if I didn't, I would have no doubt went for the i5 :)
