Description

I use this for gaming. It works great on minecraft I can get close to 60fps when not recording 30 or 40 when I am. The optical drive gets a little loud when in use. The case isn't that great. There isn't much cable management so all my cables are in the front. I got Microsoft Windows 8 pro and my monitor for free.

This is great advice for people who use AMD APU (accelerated processing unit) processors, I am watching Logan's videos right from the start (everyone should).

@OP

When you would like some more power in the future you could always add a graphics card and run it in Crossfire with the APU, just google which are compatable.

Interesting. I personally would have gotten something like a FX-6XXX, and a discreet graphics card, then gotten a simpler keyboard. Everything else looks good though. Case is a bit cheap, but if it works, it works. It probably doesnt get the tag "epic" though.

There is a nice $11 microsoft keyboard my brother has, maybe next time go for that. I don't have the name handy, but I think it had a 4000 in it.

Its pretty basic, but I like it. Nice keys too:

that said, If you really like special features and mechanical stuff, this won't work out for you.

This is a good budget build, especially if all its used for is MineCraft. The only thing I would recommend is 8GB of memory because after you pull that 1GB for integrated video, 4GB just doesn't take you that far. On the plus side, if you need a little more juice, get an aftermarket cooler and overclock the hell out of that APU.

These prices are only relevant if you buy them from newegg as of today

I really don't agree with single DIMM ram and the APU. My parents have a pre-built PC with an APU and we can never get the drivers to work properly with it.

i think if you had a better CPU and 8 GB of RAM, you could play Minecraft at 80+ FPS without any mods

Well this was also like an $400 build ._>

I got Microsoft Windows 8 pro and my monitor for free.

So 110+57+40+63+20+25+17+50+40=$442. The keyboard/mouse seems overprices though D=

*Overpriced. Just noticed that xD
