This was my first build. I've had Macs and consoles for gaming my whole life and this was my first serious gaming machine and my first windows machine. I wasn't looking for anything ridiculous, but I wanted my computer to be robust and next gen ready. I feel like it's a great balance. It's kind of a dream come true, and to be honest I'm still getting used to everything being FAST, damn near instant. Boot time is around 8 seconds. I raided the two SSDs together for my Windows 7 boot drive and have the 1TB for games and other media.

Games. Ultra everything. I still get a stupid grin on my face when I start up Far Cry 3 and sprint through the jungle. Running up a snowy mountain in Planetside 2 with 30+ teammates ready to storm a base is exhilarating (sometimes I can get kills!). After playing Battlefield 3 on a console, the PC version almost feels like it has TOO many frames per second (almost hehe). Can't wait to see what else this thing can handle.

Edit: Here's a link to my screenshots from Steam:

How is that monitor?

It's a great monitor but it's a gamble with dead pixels, probably why it's so cheap.
