90 bucks for a 320gb hard drive is a bit expensive Other than that I think that this build is great.

Thanks, I try to do my best on that. I'll post my father's build and take a look at that cable management.

Why did you spend the extra money to get the 970 instead of a 965 or 960t? Also, the v8 isn't a very price efficient cpu cooler, a hyper 212+ would work just as well if not better, for half the price.

I got this build in December of Last Year.

I loved the Look of the V8, and it wasn't much more expensive. I'ts doing fine for me right now.

???? Why did you spend 170 dollars on the phenom ii 970 when the 965 is 80 bucks cheaper and only .1 ghz behind and perfectly overclockable?

I bought this last December so the prices were a little bit different.

Hey, I'm currently trying to build myself a nice gaming rig on a budget, and I saw your build which immediately caught my eye. Would you mind letting me know what kind of performance you get out of this? And what kind of games you can play and what settings you can smoothly play them on? It'd be wonderfull if you could. Thanks allot!

I get great FPS on Minecraft, Team Fortress 2, Civilizations 5, and games like that.

If you were to get a build like this get a good 1TB Seagate Hard Drive. Swap the Phenom II for an Intel i3 2100, and look for a case you like.

Other then that it's a great build!
