Description

I use this primarily for gaming it is a pretty good build for a budget runs bf3 on medium settings easy, can max out fallout new vegas.

Cpu- i wanted a quad core intel cpu that could handle gaming but i wasn't using integrated graphics so this one caught my eye for price and preformance.

MoBo- I went with this motherboard because it is very full featured and has everything i need for a fair price.

RAM- I chose this Ram because it was on sale and 8gb like i needed. It was also corsair who has a very good reputation.

HDD- This wasn't my original hdd this one is a replacement for the WD blue 500gb that came dead on arrival. I went to best buy and picked this one up when i sent the WD back.

GPU- I chose this gpu because it is powerful and affordable it is a great gpu for $109. I find driver support great and I am very happy with this card.

Case- This case was recommended to me by my cousin. I like it is very aggressive looking and keeps my components nice and cool, it will even feel cold sometimes thanks to the monster 250mm fan on the side.

PSU- chose this because it had the wattage i needed and was corsair who is known for making good power supplies. I didn't want to cheap out on it since PSU's can damage your pc if they surge.

Monitor- had what i needed at the lowest price, it just has a short stand so watch out.

Mouse- This is an excellent mouse, it is very ergonomic, has two side buttons, and is $15 i can't recommend this mouse enough

keyboard- got this as a Christmas present, it is an extremely nice keyboard, and the keystrokes are extremely crisp, the keyboard is also surprisingly quiet, and the screen is also great for monitoring you gpu temp and usage.

headset- this headset is amazing the mic has amazing quality and the speakers (50mm) sound amazing, i love this headset and have no complaints

Not to take away from your build but you could've gotten a more capable rig going AMD on your budget. I myself am an Intel fan however in this case it might have been beneficial to give AMD the go, just saying

all in all congrats on your first build, hope you love it :)

why did you get a 650 when you could have gotten a 7850 instead. unless of course you're an nvidia fan.

The motherboard is pretty damn expensive for a gaming build and same with the case could have walked away with a much better gpu.

Unless you got them for far cheaper than you said.

Um, wtf that RAM was on sale for $92? You could get a 8GB stick of RAM for $60 or 2x4 GB sticks for $65 ...
