Description

So this was originally a pre built from PCCG that is now pretty much a build from scratch.

CPU: i7 6700 - basically went for this as I'm greedy and felt the i5 wasn't doing enough for me despite the fact it probably was. Don't regret the purchase at all

CPU COOLER: Corsair h100i v2 - Updated the cooler to the 100 as I got a bigger case and had space to mount it at the top. Great cooler, matched with the Noctua fans it runs super quiet.

MOBO: MSI H170 Gaming M3 - Was running an Asrock z170 Extreme4 until it died on me. As of writing this it's been away 'getting fixed' or something, so I got impatient and went and bought a MSI H170 Gaming M3. Turns out it's a much better fit for my build, matching colours and my GPU.

MEM: Corsair Vengeance 4x4gb 2133 DDR4 - Pretty standard stuff

GPU: MSI Geforce GTX 1070 8gb - Great little unit, colour scheme matches my mobo and my cable mods. Will probably be upgraded to a 1080 soon though.

PSU: EVGA G2 750w Modular - FANTASTIC power supply, super quiet and fully modular. I'm running some CableMod cables for the MOBO, CPU and VGA cables to match my board and GPU

CASE: Case it actually the tempered glass edition, couldn't find it on the list. Changed from the Eclipse as I wasn't getting enough airflow and my GPU was reaching some ridiculous temps. Much happier with this and the full glass side is beautiful.

Storage and peripherals are pretty much self explanatory.

Went with Logictech as they all work nicely together.

Screen: Ultrawide LG 1440p - Fantastic screen, tiny bit of IPS bleed but nothing major. Thinking of buying a 2nd 144mhz G-Sync a bit later down the track.

Actually just updated the PSU to a EVGA Supernova G2 750w, as I built my GF a computer and gave her my old one. Mobo has been great, no issues. The onboard sound is fantastic. The overclocking ability is a bit wasted at the moment, but will look into that a bit further down the track

Nice, thank you for your feedback! I was planning on using that mobo to overclock an i7-6700k in my next build

I wish I had got the 6700k now. But at the time I didn't have water cooling and couldn't see the need to upgrade, but im always wanting more haha.
