Description

Thanks to the pcpartpicker community and /r/buildapc, I managed to scrap this one together with a little help of black friday (damn good prices all around). I'm 15 years old so I don't have a job or anything. I gotta thank my parents for helping to pitch in some cash.

First time building a computer and I managed to cut myself with the I/O shield (lol) and thankfully my blood didn't go all over the place. The only problem I had was with the case because it was not friendly to use. (I had to take out and put in the I/O shield multiple times because it kept conflicting with my motherboard (luckily it ends up fitting). Other than that, it was an easy build.

I use my pc for some gaming, video editing, and photoshop. Good build for an overall PC. I have been running this build for quite a while and haven't run into any problems.

Pros: Runs DayZ at 60 fps maxed, 30fps when in cities Runs League of Legends 200+ fps maxed. Runs Counter-Strike Global Offensive 200+ fps maxed. Pretty much all source games 200+ fps maxed. Does multitasking well, which is just how I like to live my life. Fans aren't too loud, running on stock cooler but damn it runs well.

If anyone can help, I might get an aftermarket CPU cooler to overclock, so it would be great if you'd recommend me a budget one (and presumably quiet too) and maybe even some blue LED case fans. Thanks to you all!

So the r7 260x works pretty well? Good to know. You're lucky your parents pitched in dude. I'm 15 too but my parents refuse to pitch in lol. How is the GPU? Is it good? A lot of my friends tell me its a crap GPU but I want to get the opinion of somebody who has used it. It also looks like we have the same HDD, so how is it? Is it fast? Also off topic but what rank are you on CS:GO and would you like to play some time?

Hey dude, it runs well I don't have an issue with it at all, it runs CSGO very smooth. It also runs next-gen games pretty well, for example I ran the new game called Evolve at constant 60 fps on medium settings (which is okay for me). If you aren't planning to play on fancy graphics, this GPU is good enough to have CSGO maxed out running almost a constant 200+ fps. (I am also gold nova 1, I've just got into it recently)

Hi, i have the same GPU as you and i'm buying the CPU that you have soon. Have you played anymore next-gen games like "The Witcher 3", or something like "Overwatch"? If so, can you tell me what FPS you got and what settings you got that fps on? Thanks :)

The GPU is really weak for these next-gen games, but the CPU is great. I'm sure The Witcher 3 (don't have) will be pretty laggy, and I run Overwatch all on low for the best fps 60-70. If you really want to run next-gen games, you should get a better GPU.
