[Update 6/24/18:

  • Upgraded from Windows 7 Ultimate to Windows 10 Pro
  • Added 5TB HDD Toshiba X300 5TB 3.5" 7200 RPM ]

My first time building any computer, and very first gaming rig ever, in my favorite color. Will include other external hardware once I find the perfect keyboard to go along with the color scheme.

This rig is mainly for gaming, streaming, and video editing (multi-tasking, of course).

The thermal paste application was the most annoying part of the build, while the motherboard and drive installations were a piece of cake.

I originally was going to buy something pre-built, but I'm glad I decided against it. Definitely proud of this learning experience! :)

How would you rate the PSU you used, is it holding up well? I'm thinking of using it myself for my own GTX 970 build.

Sorry that this is a late reply, but would still like to follow-up:

It's kicking strong still, and has yet to disappoint me. I'm thinking about getting further upgrades this Black Friday, like more storage space, another SSD, memory. Still love it, and easy to clean.

Really like the LEDS on the case. Wanted to get it for my build but it's too big for my desk. Now I'm using the Corsair spec 3
