Description

Built a budget gaming build for a cousin.

He wants to play Star Wars: The Old Republic and needs something for school as well.

Used an older Antec Sonata Plus 550 case that I had stored.

Great budget build! +1 Now about that case.....sheesh. Could have possibly squeezed in http://pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-case-nse200kkn1 maybe?

He had the case from an old build and wanted to use it.

Bad cable Management

Cable management is fine considering there are no grommet holes in the case.

It's not great, but the case doesn't give you a lot to work with. For instance there is no room behind the opposite side panel. There is a bar that runs along the case that I zip-tied unused cords to.

Nice Build! Though the memory is to unnecessary. You can get 1600 mhz. Not 1866mhz. The ram is good for APUs. But the i3 doesn't require much ram for gaming. 1600mhz is enough!

It's 59.99 it's still fairly cheap for memory.

Every build I've made the past two years...each time I ordered RAM, the 1866 was cheaper than the 1600, so that's what I ordered.

At the time it was cheaper than some 1600mhz kits. It's running at 1600mhz obviously now with the MoBo.
