Description

This was my first build in a long time. it's probably been close to a decade.

I originally intended to use this system as purpose built gaming rig, but the more and more I played with pc part picker the more and more power my future PC . I ended up looking at a x99 system with 32 gigs of ram and 2 980s. I stand by my decision to back down to this beast.

I wanted something I could easily upgrade but was powerful enough now for the games I wanted to play. I figured if the 970 and benq couldn't maintain a smooth experience I could grab another 970. I almost went with the asus 1440p gsync display, but I realized 27 inches was a bit too big.

Eventually I want to upgrade to a full water cooling system, but not until I get a second card. Ive slightly overclocked both the CPU and GPU with the 5-way optimazation tools, and probably won't fully push this until I get that full water cooling setup.

how is that monitor treating you? I'm also thinking 24'' Gsync or the Asus 1440p pg278q

well u spent alot of money on this build why not go with a better GPU like an AMD R9 295x2 or a 980TI

Ok... I am trying to tell u that a 970 is perfect for gaming but for 4k gaming with ultra max settings a 295x2 well run just fine

As you can see he doesn't plan on playing every single game on ultra at 4k...and if u didn't read the description, he isn't ready to upgrade to that yet and when he does he is going to get a second 970...and wtf is a 980ti

First off, the 980 and the Titan are terribly overpriced the 980 Ti and 970 are not
