Adrean123561 3 points 16 months ago

Nice machine and cable management is amazing in that case! Love your videos Ed :) I'm using your vids to start build my own computer

https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Adrean123561/saved/xLXbjX

That's what I think is good for $650 gaming

bladd12001 3 Builds 3 points 16 months ago

very good part list for 640 dollars. but if you could spare an extra 50-60 bucks then I would recommend an i3-8100 4core/4thread processor because it is clocked higher at 3.7ghz and has better ipc than the 1200 and better single core performance. but other than that I would not change a thing on it except maybe trying to find similarly priced parts that adhere to a single color scheme.

here is a link to a part list to look over for you.

https://pcpartpicker.com/user/bladd12001/saved/3ncbjX

the additional cost is tied to the extra cost of the z370 board because the pin layout has changed and only z370 is compatible with coffee-lake processors.

redey1290 2 points 16 months ago

Eh... I'd wait until the H or B series motherboards come out for under $100.

Wolf88 4 Builds 3 points 16 months ago

Super clean. Kinda reminds me of a KTM chassis.

Really nice! I love the orange and black color scheme. Calling a feature!

Eltech 20 Builds 2 points 16 months ago

I don't have enough words to describe this build, but I will say this is spot on with the color scheme and how it all comes together. Absolutely amazing and looks like a work of art. You've taken my one and have my support.

looks at total cost

$4995.67

You sir just lied.

Booperoni 2 points 16 months ago

Dude,, bro,,, This is amazing. There literally nothing I would change about this case (possibly the CPU cooler, but if it stays cool, keep it". You nailed it

IncognitoGamer123 1 point 16 months ago

Not sure what to say about it that hasn't been said by you. So I guess, great build, great videos, and +1!

Otterman366 12 Builds 1 point 16 months ago

how do you sleep at night knowing you have an sli bridge with the amd logo on it?

JailBreak submitter 22 Builds 1 point 16 months ago

lmao

dragoon20005 4 Builds 1 point 16 months ago

Well i came in my pants when i saw this build

what was your average power draw for the system?

average temps?

stock voltages it is running

most i heard can only get 2666 or 2933MHz for the RAM

were you able to get 3200MHz?

any complains about the board?

will we see OC results?

i saw the other Treadripper builds and most complain the CPU install was the hardest to install

was that really hard?

JQuinta 1 point 16 months ago

I don’t know how to can even game on this, I’d never stop staring at it!

yue665 3 Builds 1 point 15 months ago

That is a slick looking setup. Great color matching.

graysonbrose 1 point 15 months ago

How is the cooler master cooler holding up? Just wondering how it performs because I will probably be using it with a 7700k if it is good.

skoolz86 1 Build 1 point 15 months ago

Amazing system, OP. Just a heads up: I don't think you listed the correct cooler on the part list. From the pictures, it looks like the routing tubes for the cooler are a different consistency than the Cooler Master MasterLiquid Lite. The "Lite" model has tubes that are plastic, not braided mesh.

Yadro 1 Build 1 point 14 months ago

Very nice job with the custom cables and the cable management, especially tough with such an "open" case as yours. Top Marks!

DilltinMel 1 point 14 months ago

this isn't ed or he would have pictures that weren't in the video

coliverse 1 point 14 months ago

Boy it sucks that the ryzen logo looks like a ****** coffee stain.

abyodio 1 point 8 months ago

i orange too 1++

DeltaZ 1 point 7 months ago

That. Cable. Management. Is. EPIC!!!

Jushi 1 point 1 month ago

Great build, great YouTuber. Believe me, it's hard to find any TechSource fans on this platform.

PAKA2114 1 point 3 days ago

Oh... Hello there, Ed.

Luv ya vids btw

aprofile 3 Builds 0 points 16 months ago

mmmmmmm... Can I have please? :)

lstromer 1 Build 0 points 16 months ago

That case is so sexy! I was looking at that and the Core P5. The Core P5 won only because I loved the grid-like structure. Your setup is giving me buyers remorse xD

Lyrix 0 points 16 months ago

Really great build ed! love it!!! 1+!!! :D

KarmAngel -1 points 16 months ago

I saw your videos, photos, part list and description. +1 anyday!

But that build hasn't a "gaming friendly hardware". SLI and threadripper: sure you have outstanding performance on gaming, even on high graphical preset, but not the best of the best. Of course, i recognise that this build was also made to be an workstation PC, so congrats! ☺

3CH0_GAMING -1 points 16 months ago

lmao this guy just straight up copied TechSource or it is techsource

deltaseeker 1 Build 2 points 16 months ago

it is techsource lol

JailBreak submitter 22 Builds 0 points 16 months ago

I copied myself.

RegularTimster 1 point 1 month ago

Shook

tony475130 -1 points 16 months ago

Somebodys been watching too much jayzTwoCents lol

JailBreak submitter 22 Builds 0 points 16 months ago

I dont watch his videos actually.

Lyrix 1 point 16 months ago

whhaaaaattttt? yt beef incoming? xD

tony475130 1 point 16 months ago

It seemes funny since he did a similar build using the same case and components, only his is fully watercooled

Lyrix -1 points 16 months ago

this guy is techsource....

tony475130 -1 points 16 months ago

And that matters why?

Lyrix -1 points 16 months ago

because he didnt have to watch jayztwocents to buy/build in this case cause he got sent it the same time. so he isnt inspired by him.

tony475130 -1 points 16 months ago

My first comment was a joke to begin with. I'm subscribed to both channels, and am just humorously pointing out that he did a very similar build to Jay. You don't gotta defend one YouTube on artistic integrity just cause you got a boner for the guy. Lighten up.

Lyrix -1 points 16 months ago

i dont have a boner for that guy but it wasnt as obvious as you might think that it was a joke. And the build isnt that similar
