Good job on cable management and showcasing your build! Hope You enjoy it. What do you think about the parts you have chosen? Is the PC silent? What would you change if you could? Cheers.

Kevein35 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 15 months ago

Thx man :-) At the moment I'm satisfied with the components I have chosen. I really like the case, it's build to have a good airflow.

I've set the fan profile in Asus AL Suite to silent and the psu runs in hybrid mode. So when running Idle noise ain't a problem.

The only downside is that it was really a ***** to do proper cable management due to the ssd tray at the back. It was really a challenge to make al the cables as flat as possible.

In the future I would like to light up the system a lil bit more, at the moment I only have lighting from the gpu , the mb and the liquid cooler, it's really dark at night ....

DomiZGamer 2 Builds 1 point 15 months ago

Yeah same here.

notsosavypcguy 1 point 14 months ago

i have saw a lot of people taking that ssd tray off and cutting one or 2 of the ssd trays off since they only have one and it helped them with their cable management a lot

Kevein35 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 14 months ago

Thx for your advice, I managed to get al the cables in place without removing it. It took me some time after all.

I like the design of the case but when I see all those Nzxt builds passing by I am a bit dissapointed ...

Great choice of parts, nice color coordination! Can you add some benchmarks? Would like to know how this beauty performs...

Thx a lot ! At the moment I'm busy tweaking/installing all of the drivers and programs I need. I will add some results later this week ;-)

Hey how is the 400c? how was the building experience? would you recommend for beginners?

Kevein35 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 15 months ago

Hi, I really like the design and aesthetics . Installing the components didn't go flawless(managing sata cable and 24pin), there's not much space behind the motherboard tray. They also should have added more cutouts.

I wouldn't recommend it for a first build , there are better options for beginners. You should look for a bigger case like for example the 760T. The more space you have, the easier to build. Good luck

XxPCbuilder2016xX 1 point 15 months ago

Thanks! I was thinking of getting the 760t or phanteks enthoo evolv, what do you think i should get from those two cases?

Kevein35 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 15 months ago

It are 2 very well designed cases and both good looking with their clean minimalistic design . I think it comes up to personnal preference. The 760 T is really easy to build things in , you get tons of space. I also like the very large side window , those of the evolve is not the same size. The evolve has a very inventive design, you can very easy hide cables, the fans included are good quality and there's space for two radiators.

It's hard to say which one is the best, they're both very good case and as you can expect from cases in this price range, the build quality is overall good . Look up some reviews , maybe that will make the choice a bit easier.

what monitor is that?

Kevein35 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 15 months ago

Asus ROG PG278Q. I'm very happy with the g-sync feature

ZyyzxGaming 1 Build 1 point 15 months ago

That's one sexy looking build! What are you using it mainly for? I have an almost identical build like this one coming up.

Kevein35 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 15 months ago

Many thank ! Most of the time I use it as a gaming rig. Other things I use it for :

Watching movies, browsing the net , video editing , enjoying music , office ...

Sounds great, at the moment I'm very pleased with my components.

Which parts did you choose?

ZyyzxGaming 1 Build 1 point 15 months ago

I went with the Corsair 780T case and the MSI M5 motherboard

slimshadythe11 1 point 15 months ago

does the case have enough space for a push pull config on the liquid cooler?

Kevein35 submitter 2 Builds 2 points 15 months ago

It can be done if you mount the radiator in font of the case. It all depends how long your gpu is and how thick the radiator is .

https://linustechtips.com/main/uploads/monthly_2016_04/IMG_20160326_104522.jpg.f4d4f1fdb5e37b43e725d3e7878872ea.jpg

This build uses an corsair h110 cooler with an Asus ROG 980 GTX Matrix. The card is 29.72cm long and as you can see it fits but there's no more space left.

So yes it's possible . Question is why would you spend your money on 2 more fans just to get that little difference in temperature ?

Reprisalgaming 1 Build 1 point 15 months ago

I have a question is my build good for my first time i order my parts Wednesday of next week.

Kevein35 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 15 months ago

Hi, everything seems good to go but I would prefer running 2 sp fans together with the radiator . The af fans are good case fans but they aren't designed to work with radiators.

Reprisalgaming 1 Build 1 point 15 months ago

Thanks just made that change.

Reprisalgaming 1 Build 1 point 14 months ago

I hope my first one look like that lmao

Kevein35 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 14 months ago

Glad you liked it. How's it going with your build ?

Reprisalgaming 1 Build 1 point 14 months ago

Haven't started yet. Everything is here except for 2 fans :(. Would you like to see my list?

Kevein35 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 14 months ago

Sure!

Kevein35 submitter 2 Builds 1 point 14 months ago

Good choice of components. I think the white version of the 400c will also be nice together with the white ram and motherboard . Let me know something when it's finished
