This is my every day gaming and editing PC in all of its glory. No problems so far!
Good parts choice , but... A bit of a overkill on the psu , and 16gb of ram. Go with a 500-600w psu and 8gb of ram. Invest rest of the money into gpu. Cuz gpu is 80% of any gaming build.
I Vaughn all of these parts over time when they were on sale, so that's why the ram and pcu are overkill.
I have a question, did you have problems closing the windowed side panel with your hard drive at all or did you switch the direction of the hard drive?
My hard drive cables are facing the rear side panel, which I had trouble closing with my cable management.
Asus optical drive is more than you need if you're using it... 8 GB Ram is the quantity you need to play(I'd rather buy a Kingston HyperX Fury or Corsair Vengeance) Only 2 Dimms is needed. Storage is ok. I don't know but I think it would be better a Kingston 120 GB SSD. Choose one of these GPS GTX 970,980,980 Ti or R9 280X,380,290,390X. There is a problem if the GPU/CPU is not that good. If the GPU is too powerful the CPU doesn't work as well. And if the CPU is good and the GPU is crappy as they say GPU is very important for gaming.
Looks tidy , great build!
welcome! i fell happy if i see more amd builds :) check out my build.
You should upgrade to a GTX 960
I want too, but don't have the money as of now.
