So after deciding to invest my money into a desktop rather than a laptop, I still wanted to have a "mobile" pc portable enough to put in a car and carry up a flight of stairs once a week. I'm a pretty serious gamer, so my machine has to be powerful, with no hampered potential, yet i need it compact. This is the build I came up with and I think it works pretty damn well.
Have transported this thing back and forth every week for 2 years now with no hiccups. Originally, booting off the OCZ ssd didn't work well, so I just put the OS on the hhd, and honestly it isn't noticeably slower. Takes about 35 seconds from power off to logging in and using the computer. I run every game I play on ultra at 60 fps (CSGO, Skyrim, Fallout 4, Rainbow Six Siege, Day Z, Rocket League, Chivalry, etc.) the MSI gtx 970 can have some coil wine from time to time, but the fans powering off when the graphics aren't under load makes the machine extremely quiet in idle--plus I game with headphones anyways. I'm not anti-semitic, and have Jewish family; so with that being said, the red LEDs in the front kind of look like a swastika, which I noticed while taking the pictures lol.
