Description

Hello everyone. This is my first ever pc build. (Hopefully the first of many). I got the components for my birthday, and I put it all together. I will be upgrading to an i5 6600K in the near future, that is why I bought a z170 board now. There were no major problems with the build apart from one thing. When I finished the build and turned on the computer, nothing happened, nothing at all. No Led no nothing. Turns out, in my great excitement, I forgot to plug in the power cable to the wall outlet. Apart from that, everything went really smooth. It works well for what I use it for (some gaming, school work, surfing the web, etc.).

I've built like four machines, upgraded and things of that type and 95 times out of 100 I either forget to plugin the cpu connector to the motherboard, or plugin the PC into the wall, almost every time.

Does the CPU stay cool with the stock CPU? If so what games are you playing?

It's nothing amazing, but it stays at normal temperatures. I don't play very intensive games. TF2, LoL, Rocket league, stuff like that. Hope that helps :)

Nice build! What games have you played? Have you been happy with the performance? I am considering the same GPU/CPU combo

Thanks. I don't play very intensive games, but it holds up really well, better than expected. I have no problems with TF2, ETS2 and League of Legends. I am downloading Overwatch right now, so I will update this post when I had the chance to play it. The i3 definitely packs a punch, so don't be afraid to go with it. Hope this helps :)

Glad to help. Overwatch runs really well, no problems whatsoever even though it is still in beta.
