Description

This is my first attempt at building a PC. I will mostly be using this for gaming/everyday use/school work. I know some of you will say I have too much memory, but I plan on using virtual machines on this PC. That is why I wanted plenty of storage and memory in this machine. I tried to stay around a $1000 budget, it just went over a little bit. I am using the SSD as the boot drive, since this was my first SSD I was surprised how much faster it was. I got everything from Newegg (mostly) and TigerDirect.com.

I already had the monitor from before as well as the headphones. I got Windows 7 Ultimate for free through my school organization.

Looks good. Nice job, however you wasted money on the 990FX board since you didn't get a CPU cooler and therefore can't OC - also the CPU you got is basically an OC'd 6300. So not the smartest. Still looks pretty good.
