Description

This is my first build, only having a Kid's Budget i wanted to build a computer that i could upgrade in the future. I just needed a computer for gaming and school that can handle basic programs. I know the cable management is horrible, but i plan on improving it when i have the time. I'm planning on eventually getting a second gpu to do crossfire(and upgrade the psu if necessary) and to get more ram. The PC is running Linux at the moment, just waiting to get a copy of Windows from a friend. This is a upgrade off a HP Pavilion G6 so it is a BIG improvement.

I would fix those cables if I were you... It's a good budget guild, but then those cables... yuck.

Big improvement... Understatement. You just upgraded from the stone age.

Your first upgrade would be matching that stick of RAM to make 8GB. Would smooth out gaming a lot. Next would be an SSD, if you can get TRIM to work properly on linux (can't be that hard, but I wouldn't know).

This is a good example of a budget build. Unfortunately, upgrade paths from the FM2+ platform means APUs, which is a waste of CPU dye space if you have a dedicated GPU.

Eh, you can crossfire. At least some of the cards, and I'm sure they will make the 7770 compatible in the future.

Sad you did not chose this video card. http://pcpartpicker.com/part/powercolor-video-card-ax77701gbd52dh

But I love the build +1!

There is no discount on the card I suggested anymore. But it was $90, so it was 40 dollar cheaper.
