Description

Been contemplating to build ever since I purchased my PS4 and I haven't regretted it.

Waiting for stock of the 1060 or prices for the 1070 to drop and use that for my GPU but im currently using the integrated graphics for my output

Playing Cod4 I get upwards of 80FPS; everything on high without a graphics card!

No issues with the build and I have no prior experience with PC building

Might start a full series depicting how challenging it is to get used to the Keyboard & mouse

The case is really good!! Like looks wise it is great, the mount points for the motherboard support up to a full ATX so you wont need to worry about that.

Only issue is space, don't expect a DVD drive to fit, mine came with all the wires so the power button/USB etc hooked to the motherboard so that's fine

If there is anything in particular you wanna see, lemme know and ill film it or something for ya

Are you planning on overclocking? Should be able to play at 1440p and I assure you that you'll never want to go back to consoles, I just switched half a year ago myself

I wanna learn how to, fiddled with the BIOS and my MSI motherboard had a OC Geni setting, toggled that on and it pushed my CPU to up to 4.20! That's without me tweaking any settings individually but yea, I have no plans to go back to console, been playing a few games and wished I didn't deprive myself of this experience for this long!

True! Luckily I only played on console for 2 years, PC gaming truly is awsome

prices of the GTX1060 is going to rocket because of limited stocks

and the AMD RX 480 Nitro from Sapphire is a sweet GPU which can match the reference GTX1060 is most game for like 20-30 dollars cheaper

Very true but currently I can find a good MSI 1060 for £240; donno if it is worth the price but for performance matching or just under the 980 I think its pretty good

I will defo look into the 480 option, just being able to SLI alone is pushing me to go AMD than Nvidia

well nVidia have just shot themselves in the leg for removing SLi support

they know that dual GTX1060 could beat their GTX1080 for less so they nerf it.

Overwatch reference "Nerf This!"

Powercolor,MSI and Asus are the brands to to look out.

I will be hoping for some decent OC because of the the custom power phases and 8 pin PCI-E plugs

Exactly! I despise their decision for removing SLI! The 1060 is a great card, but it isnt a full card without the SLI

Speaking of overwatch, I have it but Im crap and havent got a team to learn with so you can add me up if you wanna play a game or two!

Appreciate the brand shout outs, will defo consider the Asus as their boost clocks are above quite a lot of the cards I've compared (NewEgg have some crazy good prices BTW)

Sad to say. I heard and watch ppl play Overwatch but dont have the cash to buy the game. Let alone a proper rig. My rig is a Core 2 Quad/Extreme with only a HD5450 because the HD6850 is dead.
