Description

So this was my first build ever and I had NO problems at all. It was so much fun building this thing, it runs great and I was able to get a 4.6 clock out of it. Running Prime95 it did not get any hotter than 82 degrees Celsius which is AWESOME. Graphics card is GREAT.

Great build/part selection.

I just told this to "Lafindumondenf" in his builds comment section, but I think you did the exact same thing.

What I said:" I have one little tip/suggestion for your overclock, I know you only increased the multiplier to 46 but you should also try to find an optimal voltage for your i7 3770k (in your case i5-3570), the voltage should be somewhere between 1.200 and 1.250V. You can change this manually in the BIOS. Why I tell you this? I see that you are running a good overclock but your CPU is a little bit hot (it is using 1.328V atm which is way to high), with lowering the voltage you could be able to maintain this overclock but run it at a lower max. temperature. By lowering the voltage (resulting in lower temperaturs) your CPU is going to last much longer. "

I hope this helps to run your CPU cooler, +1 on the build.

i know absolutely nothing about overclocking, but isnt there a chance that if he lowers the voltage his oc wont be stable?

Yes there is a possibility that his overclock won't run stable, however when it isn't stable with a voltage of max. 1.250V than his CPU is just not made for that overclock. It is not "save" to go beyond mentioned voltage.

Nice build. The only things that might be a little bit lower end are the power supply and the SSD. Kingston made great RAM, but there SSD reliability has been questionable. For SSDs, I like to stick with intel, crucial, or samsung. I'd much rather have reliability over speed, but those new kingstons are supposedly fast.

The power supply is also good, but it's not great and for a little more you could have gotten a great power supply from seasonic, xfx, pcpc, or corsair (ax/hx/tx).

Otherwise, these are minor things that don't even really matter. Nice build overall.
