Description

Little Server!

Just a simple build for a personal home media server. Installed xubuntu, plex, samba and webmin. Also installed LAMP and running as a test environment. Also running a mumble server.

UPDATE 1: I've added a 4TB HDD... Filling up the 1TB quickly and definitely needed another drive.

Neat. What kind of games could it handle as a remote server? +1 on your build.

Thanks, most linux game servers, just low on slots probably. It'll just be trial and error. I'm thinking a 7 days to die server might be cool.

Hi, I wondered if you use your ram to 1.5v or you tried to lower the voltage to 1.35v. People says that Skylake cpu's do not use such high voltages. Im asking cause I want to make a htpc like yours, and I have that doubt

It might be worth looking at DDR4 to under-volt, but the differences will be minimal I believe. Or you could buy slower memory to save power.
