Description

I decided to build my own PC for the first time after my cousin convinced me a few months ago. I got the parts over several weeks and finally put it all together. I got my CPU and motherboard on newegg at a decent price, and I got the rest of the parts at Canada Computers and NCIX, shopping the sales. I already had the mouse and keyboard and the small monitor. I plan on upgrading the mouse and keyboard soon. Any comments, questions, tips? Thanks for looking!

A guy was upgrading so he gave it to me for cheap, not a mark on it and in perfect running condition.

It's strange, the board looks black in most advertisements, but the PCB is still brown. I have the z77-g45 and it looks like they still have the same brown PCB. Nice bargain hunting on the build. Besides the cx600 which is an ok to good power supply, its an excellent build list.

thanks. I wasn't sure what power supply to go with but I saw a lot of people saying good things about corsair so I got it.

Yeah, most Corsair psus are good, but the cx isn't the best. It's still better than raidmax's or coolmax's.

Dude, is your GPU bending on that mobo?

Ya I fixed that after I saw how bent it was.

Looks nice! I'm thinking about something similar for my first build. Quick question - did you have any problems with that CPU cooler obstructing the RAM slots?

No, the hyper x is really low profile so I didn't have any problems.

Awesome build for an even more awesome price. Those cheap CAD prices are quite nice! Great job timing your purchasing over several weeks to catch those sweet sales.

By any chance do you know the brand or model of your corner computer/workstation desk?

Ya its a bestar. I don't really know the model or if you can even buy it anymore. The model number is P79431-1155 if that helps
