Description

I started this build 6 months after I sold my personal gaming machine. Wanted something better than I had before (it was pretty much the same specs + full custom water cooling + second GPU)

Parts are constantly upgrading and replacing with better colors (YES, I do care about colors a lot lol ) (switched from MSI Gaming X to EVGA FTW due to color combination) Dominators are replaced with 8 sticks of LPX memory for a total of 128gb and due to CPU cooler clearance and be quiet! CPU cooler added another fan to push/pull config ... photos later

Ordered cable extensions and EVGA HB bridge

Issues: RAM: PC wasn't booting at all with XMP profile... so they were running at 2133mhz instead of 3200mhz... had to send them back and got myself 3000mhz LPX sticks (8x16gb)

BF1 Ultra 4k getting 80-90fps

CSGO High 4k getting 350fps

Didn't test other games since two games are my fav so far

Thank you guys, I didn't really like red in my PC, it just overplayed and everyone wants red or white... I wanted something dark and less noticeable, without million LEDs :)

I'm assuming with an air cooler the processor is meant to be kept at stock? Have you considered push-pull for the Dark Rock?

Read the description, I already mentioned it is in push/pull :) And no, it is OC to 4.0 at 1v (pics are coming soon) and temps are pretty good at 55 under gaming load

What about Prime AVX temps?

looks amazing! if you don't mind me asking, does the Dark Rock 3 come with thermal paste?

Thanks :) It does come with one but I used Grizzly thermal paste instead

Nice built! Like it. I ordered my meshify c yesterday, now i am looking forward to built in it. I m also going to use 3 120 front fans. But how did you manage to get the third into your case without removing the plate of the shroud? Did you cut it? I have the same cpu cooler and it does a very good job. How are your temps in order you don't have any fans at the top? Im thinking about 2 additional exhaust at the top. But very nice choice. Meshify c and define c are the best cases out there for air cooling in my opinion. It looks so weird if just the half case is used by your hardware.

Thank you :)

No, I didn't cut anything, I had to remove covering top piece and move HDD trays a little, PSU cables have less space, but I was able to fit 3rd fan. No, no top fans, temps are looking good that I don't really need top fans right now

Why did you opt for 3 120mm versus 2 140mm? I'm building in a Meshify C and trying to decide what's optimal. Obviously you're running two cards, but the power shroud gets in the way for half of the 120mm fan.

How did you get that bottom 120mm fan in with the basement cover in? Did you do a custom cut in it?

What is your case fan configuration?

So I see you switched out your Gaming Xs for FTWs, and you failed to mention that it was a difficult or frustrating process. Does that mean it was a simple and smooth operation for you? I have a like-new EVGA 1080 FTW Hybrid that none of my friends can afford and I'm hesitant to try and sell online. Any insight?

Why would it be difficult or frustrating to swap GPUs ? What does "Does that mean it was a simple and smooth operation for you?" mean? Nothing wrong with cards, no issues...

Well, just put it on eBay for a good price and you can sell it, I sold couple FE 1080s for $400.... yours won't be more expensive than that

I suppose the wording was difficult to get across haha. But the 1080 FTW Hybrid retails for $600, I got it on sale for $560, not a chance I'd sell it for $400

128gb! (96gb right now due to slow shipping from Amazon :( Dominators are replaced due to OC issue, my PC wasn't booting with XMP profile, so had to send them back.
