Came out much cheaper then what PC part picker has listed because of sales and I'm very happy. Makes for nice gaming @ 1080p after OCing. Everything is playable at max.
I think this build is fantastic for the price range. The hdd could have been a western digital or seagate, but really I dont think you will run into any problems with it. Awesome build.
So how easy is it to install that cooler? I have the same CPU and I'm planning on installing it in the summer and overclocking by a .5-.6 ghz increase.
That Toshiba hard drive isn't the best choice, but I'd assume you got a good deal on it. I think you can get a WD Caviar blue for about the same price, and WD has good reliability. Anyway, nice build, and great for the price.
Yeah, the entire 7800 series are =D. My 7870 Ghz has an ASIC quality of 83.6 which means it should overclock really well whenever I decide to overclock it. Maybe even 1300 Mhz...
