Description

Hey everyone this is my first build I did back when I was 14 in January of 2014 but have only just got around to uploading. Please note that all of the parts were purchased through MSY (Mitcham store specifically) with the exception of Windows where I purchased at Officeworks. Also note that I now have 8 gigs of Corsair XMS DDR3 in dual channel as the single 4gb stick was temporary and my budget limited me from buying a lot of things that I would have liked to at the time.

This Budget AMD based system runs any game you throw at at least 50+ FPS (Medium to high settings) such as BF3 and other games such as Hitman absolution and TF2 are 80 FPS Minimum on the same settings. At the time of purchasing the parts the prices were pretty good but now looking back I wish I had of spent a little extra $ for a case that actually has some cable management options because the Storm 500 is BAD. The only cable management options are to try and stuff as many cables as you can down the back side panel, no routing holes and very little cable tie loops. Despite this the temperatures are fine and the case rant was really only important for looks. Apart from gaming I do some Photoshop and the system speeds through it all nicely. Not really sure what else to say about it at the mome- Oh wait who does not like LED strip lighting! Thought I'd mention it xD Yeah feel free to leave a comment and I hope you like it for the small price bracket I build it in!

My only question is, what's up with that funky mouse? Does it work that well? Other than that, nice cable management for a case that doesn't offer much +1

Ahahahaha the mouse is truly terrible and was given to me so I may as well use it while I try and find a new one :) Got any suggestions for a good ergonomic mouse?

If you can find this for cheap where you live, I recommend it. I've used this sucker for a year now with no problems and it's super cheap. Also has a really good interface.

The keyboard is a Thermeltake Posieden ZX. It's the same as the Posieden Z but without the number-pad . The mouse was given to me as a present so I can't help you there sorry :P :)

Solid build. Nice job.

Working with photoshop and high-impact games, you might consider getting a hyper 212 cooler to replace that monster jet engine on your cpu.

I just got a deepcool maelstrom 120k liquid cooler. Soo much better than the stock cooler and might upload photos soon
