Description

I am using this machine for everything that a normal college student would use it for and plus gaming. I mainly just use the game to do my daily life but gaming has been the best experience I've ever had. I couldn't be any more happy to call this one my first build for it will not be my last. I've completed this build 5 months prior to its first appearance. I am happy to say that I have ran into no major issues and am now running three monitors instead of when I started with just two. I ran into two issues with this computer..

  1. Cooler Master Storm Stryker: It took me ages to figure out how to make the LED's on the case Power button and Stock Fan's to work. It was the Molex connector that I didn't know I had to use even after repeatedly reading the manual. ( I could just be slow)

  2. My voltage was at 1.65 with the RAM I had chosen and for whatever reason, I got the BSOD in about 2 months. I lowered it to 1.5 ever since in the BIOS and have not ran into that same issue ever since.

Other than that, it was an easy assemble. Thank you for checking this out!

Wouldn't have used a Seagate storage device simply because of bad experience with three of their drives. But aside from that I say +1 on the part selection!

LOL I love how people put an i7 in their rig and call it a mid range. Honestly this isn't mid range by any means unless your speaking of the GPU and in that case it's still not a mid range. The i7 paired with the 970 automatically puts this in the higher class and the added EVO SSD just further pushes it into the next tier. +1

Or maybe, like the saying goes, "better things get cheaper, and cheaper things get better", and to be fair, on this site, where every 3 out of 5 builds has a 980ti and 6700k, its pretty mid range

Lol you didn't offend me I was just saying don't sell yourself short. Gtx 970's can push 2k graphics or 1440p however you want to put it. This in my personal opinion notches the rig up to above mid range.

I'm sorry haha. I'm kind of used to the idea that 980s and above create it a more higher class in my jurisdiction. A lot of people I know have 970's and we all kind of just feel mid compared to folks with like 980's and 980ti's. . I didn't mean to offend you or anything :I
