Description

Hey guys! This PC is mostly for gaming and some video editing. I play lots of different kind of games and so far my new build has been great for me. I will now explain why I chose some parts. I know I could've saved money in some places but I chose these parts for their great looks without degrading the performance.

CPU : I chose this because it seemed to be the mainstream 1151 gaming CPU! I am at 4.6 GHz at 1.31 and it runs at 22 c idle!

CPU Cooler : I love the all in one water cooler design. It is simple and works great. Maybe in the future I will make this build into a full custom loop. sighs maybe

Motherboard : I understand, this motherboard is super expensive. I love the bells and whistles it has. It has been a great motherboard for me and I like the RGB :)

SSD : I got this SSD for 160$ on sale at BestBuy

HDD : Just a fast storage place for all my games.

GTX 1080 : I guess I got really lucky with this being in stock for me. I just searched it on amazon and boom! It was in stock for $679.99 I guess they are usually very hard to get.

Case : The moment I saw this case I knew I needed it! I had to wait 1-2 weeks for it so I played on a test bench while I waited. It is an amazing case with exceptional build quality.

PSU : Since the PSU is visible from the front panel on the case I got this. It looks great and fits the build, + the no fan spin mode is great and keeps things quiet.

OS : I have never had trouble with Windows 10 so I picked it up.

Case Fans : I got these black fractal design fans out of a leap of faith. They looked amazing and had great reviews. I am very glad I got them and would for sure recommend them to anyone who is upgrading to custom fans.

Monitor : I have had this 144Hz 1080p monitor forever and I'm gonna be picking up a 4K monitor soon! I play on a 4K TV in the living room and oh boy... It is freakin great!

Keyboard : Great keyboard for gaming. It's quiet and RGB :D

Mouse : Ever since trying out Zowie at a gaming convention I could not use anything else. Great mouse with wonderful build quality.

Headset : I got this headset for a few reasons. It has a great mic, as well as the fact I can mute the mic by simply pushing it up. This headset also has great sound quality.

Pop-Tarts : Who doesn't like them?

Custom Cables : They look wonderful! Plus I got them $40 off.

Hue+ : I know there are cheaper RGB PC kits, I chose these because of the easy to use software. They work great and make a good addition to any PC.

RAM : I have had this RAM for a while now so I just re-used it. Maybe in the future I will get some Corsair White LED Ram!

Benchmark scores : 3DMark Firestrike 1.1 , I got 3170 on Heaven 4.0 Ultra everything!

If you want me to benchmark anything just ask and I will upload scores.

Additional info : Since these pictures. I removed the top LED strip in the front part of the case and moved it behind the 3 fans on top. It looks great and shines all on the motherboard! Thanks for reading, if you have any questions feel free to ask! <3 #PCMasterRace

Working, saving, schooling, begging, selling ourselves, and of course praying.

JK, mostly working and saving. But the sad reality is after we build our beautiful computers, we neglect them. I don't even game anymore. I just benchmark to see where my performance stands then I go back into planning for the next build.

I almost bought the Enthoo pro M but a review stated that we have to buy our own SSD mounting brackets. Like, what the ****? I mean the prices of the brackets aren't too high either but still, what kind of a business are we running here? LOOL....

Great looking build. I want to get the same case but nervous about the cable management showing on the right side. Looks like you did a pretty solid job managing them though. Very likely goina copy those cable combslooks awesome!

Show us how it looks after changing the location of the LEDs. Also. WOW. This build is almost identical to what I want right now, looks matter to me so even tho this Mobo is expensive I'm GOTS TO GET IT. Plus going for the 1070 strix over the evga. Thank you for sharing this!!!

I tried to strix before the evga ftw and can say. The evga gets a better overclock and looks better in this modern case imo!

Is the hue+ rgb connected to the mobo? If yes, are they compatible? and can you configure them to be aligned (light-wise)? I might consider the evga even for the smaller size which will make much more room to work with!
