you could have downgraded the case a little and sprung for a 770 but all in all great build +1
I'll never understand the choice of not going with a 770 in non-budget builds.
But anyways very nice build and components.
totally agree. For a $1200 gaming build you better have a 770.
I have a 770 but I see where he went because that case is nice with some cool features it seems. For alot of people the case is one of the most important thing
i could see the charm to the case but there are some other quality cases for less. and shouldnt the most important thing be performance, right?
Ofcourse it is, I have my Zalman Z11 plus and I chose it because it looks cool and because it has a quite good cooling for the price.
but that case is miles away from the one he bought in price but you say
it still offers good cooling. i also have a 50$ range case the cooler master haf 912 and i bought that one because of the rugged look and cooling aspects but i also bought that one because of the price/quality and the money i saved went twoards my 770
That case was the most beautiful PC part I have every purchased and the build quality is just outstanding! All the features are so well build especially the hinged doors which make maintenance and cleaning such an enjoyable task. Also building inside the case was so awesome, such a large area and the fans push a lot of air but due to the size of the case everything stays quiet even under load and temperatures remain low due to the large area for air to flow. No restrictions etc. I do not regret the case one bit!
i dont understand it either. or when i see a 2-3000 dollar build and they have the hyper 212 evo.
That case choice, albeit impulsive and slyly silly, I just fell inlove with the case and had to have it :P
I really wanted a 770, but at the initial point I built this with a GTX560Ti which died on me and I really didn't have the money to buy a GTX770 as much as I tried to justify spending more :(
The ASUS GTX 760 is a great card though and at the moment I only game at 1080p so it does everything I need it to, I prefer a stock overclocked, custom cooled card compared to reference clocks and cooling on one version up. ASUS GTX770 was just too much for me to spend unfortunately at the time and I couldn't wait as my PC is vital during term time! :(
That case is so cool. Does it really weigh 48 lbs?!
The case is awesome! Yes its a heavy bugger even without anything in it!! :P
