Hi everyone, this is my first PC build. Was looking into replacing my older laptop that I had since I started university around 3 years ago (which regularly crashes especially when running simulations) so I finally decided to grow up a little bit more and source for my own PC components.

So far it's been great! Loving the boot-up time with SSD which is blazing fast and the silent fans which are just enough to provide me with some white noise to sleep to in my room.

Please leave me some feedback! I hope to learn more about PC building. It will be greatly appreciated!

are you sure your intel cpu cooler can handle this?

pretty sure it can, as that's a non-K (locked cpu)

Yep, as mentioned by @pegotico I'm pretty sure it can. I don't really plan to overclock (at least for the time being) anyway :)

All round great build, you probably should get a CPU cooler, liquid or air, it depends on what you plan on doing. I would've gotten the 390 over the 970 but still a good card.

Thanks for the feedback! I was planning on getting an aftermarket cooler when I decide to upgrade to a CPU that I can overclock with.
