Description

Build that I have been slowly updating/upgrading since 2012. Recently made the switch to Intel (Yaaas!), got a new MOBO, and switched out for a more professional case/silent fans (previous was a radioactive green raidmax, stock).

Works as expected. Will post relevant temps and scores, soon.

Also, apology for awkward angle pics-- too lazy to move computer to an area uninfluenced by glare, at the moment.

UPDATE: Added in prices for those curious. Note GPU/PSU prices are manually entered and indicative of what I paid BACK IN 2012!

Nice productivity build but you didn't need to buy all those extra case fans i don't see your pc overheating. But if you are thing about adding more to the build like graphics card then the fans will help with overclocking

Originally the fans were going to go on a H100i Cooler for overclocking my old CPU-- didn't workout and had a minute budget for the replacement.

Plan IS to upgrade GPU, soon. Probable 970/390.

Thanks for the comment!

This can't actually be priced at $0.00....am I missing something?

Hey, Synchro! Sorry about the confusion. The way I use PCPartPicker is by steadily updating price figures, based on what I own and what I still need-- the end result usually being a build priced at $0, since I "own" all of the parts and thus do not need to spend anymore. It helps me budget, accordingly :3

Apologizes, as I am sure that removes a good deal of the point behind posting builds on this site; I will look into updating price values to show current best-prices.

Thanks for the comment!

Know the reference? :P

And thanks! Although I will admit I got it back when I had more or less NO IDEA what I was doing.

Ahem, I guess I still kinda have no idea what I am doing.

Haha, more like Babe, the movie about an actual pig.

Different 'Piggy'. :P
