Hey, nice build! What are your thoughts on this CPU? I just went across a deal on the Xeon E3-1280, which I thought would be a nice upgrade from my humble Pentium G850, but didn't find any info on these kind of chips on non server use.

Thx for replying! My Xeon E3-1280 arrived today and is working perfectly. The only downside is the temperature, which used to be no higher than 40º with my Pentium, but now goes all the way up to 65º with the Xeon. Is that Zalman cooler enough for you? My Hyper TX3 is having a hard time to keep temps under 70º.

sorry for long response I replaced the cooler with a hyper 212 evo the zalman was there for temp hold over.
