Build

First Build!

by Lzrimsek2018

Description

Hey everyone I've been introduced into the PC world by my father, who I would like to thank because I could have never built it without him. I was always interested by computers since I was a little kid and my Dad grew up when computers were first invented. Now that I'm 12 my Dad decided he would help me build my first computer, so I stocked up on Christmas, Birthday, and other holiday cash to build a semi-budget PC! I mostly use it for medium gaming and homework. I Mostly play Minecraft, Garry's Mod, and TF2. Also I got Adobe Photoshop and Premiere and she got me my monitor for Christmas from my Grandma so thanks to her I can do some cool stuff!

Cpu: Good cpu, i3 is underestimated in my opinion because people say it is not that good, but it has a lot of cool features like hyper threading.

Cpu Cooler: Extremely good! keeps my cpu run at 33C on full load!

Motherboard: Since I never really planned to over clock my cpu I just went with the best H77 board for the money.

Memory: Got it for cheap around $36. Good speeds meets my needs.

Hard drive: Didn't need to much storage probably could have spent like $15 more to get a TB

Gpu: probably a little overkill but it does a great job and doesn't seem to be bottle necked by my cpu. Also I got it on sale for 189.99!

Case: Found the Zalman Z9 for $25 and it was a good value just wish it had usb 3.0 WILL UPGRADE!

Powersupply: Was $20 I was a little too ready to build my PC so I just bought this on the spur of the moment. WILL UPGRADE!

Monitor: Really Nice monitor 23.0" 1920X1080

Mouse: Got it for around $30 great mouse nice texture and my hands don't sweat, plus it has shiny lights!

Keyboard: Got this for Christmas very nice mechanical keys and it is back lit.

Not bad for a first build decently clean.

Not too bad, How is the PSU treating you?

So far so good I've built this about a year ago now I just forgot to post it I'm gonna build another PC soon and when I do I'll also buy another PSU maybe a corsair CX600M.

Nice job. But for what you paid for the cpu/mobo you could have went with a much better amd build.
